Where it all started
Goele Vermeeren, the founder and CEO of Master Interior grew up between the most icon design furniture in her parent’s store Master Meubel. Master Meubel is a design furniture store founded in 1985, located in Turnhout, Belgium. Here Goele's passion for design, inspiring interiors and respect for the masters was born. Combined with her studies of computer sciences and management she was ready to take over the family business in 1994.
Currently the Master Group is expanding and consists of three design and furniture hubs in Belgium. To escape from her sometimes busy life as entrepreneur and CEO of three furniture stores in Belgium, she has been coming to the Côte D'Azur on vacation for several years. Because of her own experience, Goele discovered the challenge nowadays to get an exquisite interior abroad without too much effort. Master Meubel already had many projects int the area of Nice for Belgian clients having a second home in France, so starting Master Interior France was just a logical next step in the international growth of the business.
Master
Master Meubel located in Turnhout, Belgium is the place where it all started. In this unique building, you can find one of the largest showrooms in Europe in high-end furniture. Next to that you can find there, ateliers including: window decoration, custom made furniture and the reupholstery of your beloved furniture pieces.
With the presence of 12 interior architects, all the experience is gathered to transform interiors designed according to your needs. Whether it's designing a new terrace or a living room, with a focus on comfort, functionality and quality the customer's needs are fulfilled.
Vitra Partner Store Antwerp
On October 13th 2018, the world-famous Swiss furniture manufacturer Vitra opened its first Partner Store in Antwerp. The former showroom of fashion designer Walter Van Beirendonck has been transformed into a space of 700m² in which the many possibilities of the Vitra collections are showed. Vitra Partner Store Antwerp is part of the Master Group since 2019. A perfect match as the two family businesses share the love for contemporary design, designed by masters of the past and present.
Espoo.
Espoo is a design store located in the well-known 'Kloosterstraat' in the city center of Antwerp, Belgium. Espoo can safely be called a Belgian pioneer in Scandinavian design. It was the first retailer who introduced amongst others the famous Hay brand to the inhabitants of Belgium. The team enjoys working with customers on total furnish projects for both individuals and professionals. Espoo will be part of making the furniture industry more sustainable by focusing on recycling and refurbishing.
